Image Attribution: Day and Night, 1938, by MC Escher. Images courtesy of Collection Gemeentemuseum Den Haag/the MC Escher Company.

This painting is tell the bright and dark day and night. because when you look closely you find white and black but then there us a mix you see white birds and black birds.

Today I did a SLJ, I had to tell what the painting looked light, I think this painting is telling us day and night.

  1. Hi Akifa

Good to see that you are continuing the Summer Learning Journey. The work of M C Escher is very clever. You can find a lot of examples of his work on the internet. There is a lot of mathematical ideas behind his designs.

    Keep up your efforts.
