Activity 3 - Day 5 -Own Choice

Today was my last activity for week 1, I had Jessica Watson as a person who changed the world.

Activity 2 - Day 5 - Swimming to safety

Once upon a time, in Syria ,Damascus they were a girl loved to swim, her name was Yuria Mardini. Syria was a country long gripped from war. When she found out her home was destroyed from a bomb she knew she needed to escape. So her family and her fled by a boat with too many refugees, when the boat / motor broke down she and her sister became heroes, swimming and pulling the boat back to safety, when she was in Germany she found glory on the first refuge team ever to complete the olympics.

Today I did another SLJ, for this we had to read the podcast of Yuria and write it in your own words, I took a bit of time with this but it was fun and exciting.

Day 5 - Activity 1 - Against the odd

Three Important Things To Me

My family - My family is important because I get to not be lonely and have advice from my parents if if I need to work better, and I can go on trips and have love from them. Also I would get time to play with my sister / brother.

My friends - I need friends because when I do not have friends I would never have fun, I would also want friends because they would help me with things and I can to.

My Blog- Blogging is important because that is where I blog and comment to others, and it also helps with my learning too because then I would communicate with others on my blog.

Activity 4 - day 2 - What's In A name

I would change my name to Rose because it roses are a reddish color and dark red is my favorite color. Another reason is because I really like flowers and plants and roses are my favorite plant.

Today I did another SLJ this was to name one of you favorite names and why you like it, I picked rose because it is red and a flower/plant.

Activity 3 - Day 3 - Achieving our dream

I always wanted to be a chef and I think that my mum and big sister can help because they are really good at cooking, I always wanted to open a restaurant somewhere for yummy food and healthy, I think my sister and Mum can always help because in my family they make the best food.

Today I did another SLJ, this was about if you had a interview with Steven Adams or LeBron James what would be the 3 questions you would answer.

Activity 1 - Day 3 - Superpowers

3 Superpower I would have

1. Teleportation - If I have teleportation powers if I need to go 2 places in 1 day I would just find a quicker way to teleporting and if it it far away it will be easier for me.

2.Laser eyes - I would open cans and stuff using laser eyes and it will be easier for cooking because you just need to heat it.

3. Weather change - I would pick whether change my favourite because I could make it snow. because in New Zealand we don't see much snow everywhere.

Today I did a summer learning journey post, this was something I did brave over the things I remember, When I'm scared of something I keep calm and not be afraid so I try new things.

Activity 1 -Day 2 - Up in the Air

Today I did another Summer Learning Journey activity, this activity was to compare Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten and what they were different. I got some help from my brother since I did not know what to do with this he helped me what compare and contrast means. I also learnt that Amelia did not success her flying and Jean did.

Activity 2- Day 2 - One step for man

Today I did another summer learning journey task, this task was a little poem of you in space but I added with my poem some accessories. this was very fun and cool!

Activity 3 - Day 1 - Charities

Today I did the 3rd activity in the summer learning journey, for this activity we had to find the charity we are most interested I picked SPCA the charity for the pets. I picked this one because I really love pets.

Activity 2 - Day 1 - Cultures

Today we started on our other activity, this activity was for cultures and what culture you are, we had to give facts about our culture and find one picture or more with a attribution. I really liked that I know knew some stuff.

The summer learning journey has started with excitement, today I have done my first ever summer learning journey activity, for this one I had to name 10 food that have been used without electricity, this has been a real blast. Our theme this year is people who changed the world.

Today I did a google draw about Lorde, I now know that Lorde's most popular song was Royalty. This was a practice for the SLJ in the holidays. We had to find some imformation on Lorde

Christmas Parade - Panmure

Today I went to the christmas party in panmure, when I first came I went to get a key chain my key chain was a rainbow, "OUCH" I only got one I should have gotten too more. after I went to get ice cream my ice cream was vanilla with a chocolate flake. In a couple of minutes last  I found some classmates Dezy,Fala and Fotu. It was fun hanging out with them but I went to the cutting out centre, if we cut something out and unfold it you get a prize, I helped Fala and we both got emoji rubbers. Later I went to the community centre and I got a pen. Later I went to get a lollipop and I went home.

We have been doing time tables this term, this was or us to learn our time tables so we don't struggle in year 5,6,7 and 8. we had to do this on a site called timetables.co.nz. this is a site where you learn your times tables 1 - 12, when I learned my times tables i would have to go sit down at a table alone and test myself, I was the second person to finish my time tables now I need to learn all of them so I remember.

My Weekend

Today my sis, my little brother and I went mcdonalds. Since we had to walk my baby brother was in a stroller and then we walked to the mcdonalds. We ordered on the tablets that are long. I order a Filet O Fish Burger and fries with coca cola and a hashbrown my brother was asleep that time so we saved fries and a hashbrown for him.

CD Sippy Top Balloon Hot Glue

First when we make the hovercraft we have to remove the sippy top from the bottle. Then we had to glue the sippy top on a CD. After we had to put the balloon so it was stuck on the sippy top, Then we had to take turns my partner for the ho vercraft was O’Ninesha she had a turn first and made it big. Later Ms. Kirkpatrick layed bottles on the table and we ehad to make it go to the other side of the table.
