Fractions and Decimals

Fractions are something that does not contain a whole number, Decimals means number less than one.

These are some fractions, 1/5, 2/8, 8/3, 5/3, 9/4,2/1 etc.

When using fractions usually you have to solve a problem by making it fair, sharing,same amount each, etc. For example if there was 4 people and 3.00 dollars you will need to share it by cents, the right amount it - 0.75.

The relatshionship between decimals and fractions are from decimal you can divide the numerator to the denominater.

The Denomintater comes from how many peices, slices, etc, and numberator means how many parts are taken from that object,thing,etc. 

Fractions can be used alot, usually when you share slices, etc.
