QAR

This week for reading we did QaR, the book I was reading was "matariki breakfast", we first readed the book, then we need to make meaning with verbs, adjectives, and nouns, here are all the QaR questions you can ask and close questions, and open questions.

A right there question is a questions that can be found in the text.

Think and search questions are something in the text but you will need to connect the dots, find some clues, etc.

Author and you is a questions where the answer is "NOT" in the text and you will need your knowledge and skills to come up with your own answer.

An on my own is a question where you can ask many different people to answer and they can think about it with there skill and knowledge.

Close questions are questions with no detail, information, etc. You will need to answer with "yes" or no."

Open questions are questions using detail, information specifically, etc. You can answer with lots of reasons, replys, etc.

Later when we are done we need to make a DLO using the topic "summarising the main idea", and keywords, etc.

SSR Selfie

SSR selfie can help you with summarising and retelling a text. Then you will need to give some new words for example, thermos its a type of container that is called "vacumm flask"

I picked the book sisters. It is about 2 sisters fighting until they go on a trip to their aunts house. This book tells about how Raina's cousin changed to being a spoiled brat, this book is from Raina Telgemier.

Hola Room 5, soy Akifa!

I really like your poem! it must take some time, Your poem looks pretty interesting and nice, I like the word you used inhabitants!

I like the poem, though I want to know the definitions for each word in case a person can not understand the meaning, cant figure out the word, etc.

How long did this poem take to write?

Kiwi Sport l Dig

How to do a dig?!

A dig is an actions during volleyball so you can hit it from how low it goes so it could be easier.

When you do a dig you will need to put one foot from the other and bend the front one a little.

Then you make a thumps up with both hands!

Then you attached the thumbs to each other.
