SSR Selfie

This week I did SSR Selfie!, the book I was reading was "smile", it tells about Raina getting braces for the first time and when she is taking them off she hates her smile!

I love the layout of this book and how it tells about how she felt with braces on and off!

She also said "it hurts when I smile", and more!

For SSR selfie you will need
"new words"
"title"
"author"
"Illustrater"
"and what happened"

Idiom

This week we explained idioms using videos, and scripts. An Idiom is a phrase that means something different from the word/s  usual meaning.

We first needed to find an idiom, then we took 3 videos using 1 idiom (each slide)  with a script and the roles.

Some idioms are - Piece of cake, Have Mixed Feelings, Mumbo Jumbo, Hot potato, etc.

Piece of cake means something easy, not hard to handle in particular.

Mixed feelings means being unsure of a subject. It tells how you feel about something.

Mumbo Jumbo means something that is totally nonsense, can not make sense, is wrong, etc.

I felt knowledgable after this task due to how I learnt different idioms!

LI - To pratice using idiom
